“Life is like riding a bike; essentially simple, yet infinitely intricate.”

LRBconnections promotes cycling, triathlon, and greater personal reflection and insight.
- Take your pick.
- Mix and Match.
- Try it all.
I am Jim Elsenheimer (pen name Jim Edwards) and I invite you to explore this multi-media cornucopia of my experiences and thoughts. As you will learn, what is more important than my musings are your own reflections as you explore personal meanings in:
- Who you are.
- What you do.
- How you connect with yourself and the world.
My basic premise is that you can gain a lot of personal insight simply by spending more time thinking about and connecting with the things you enjoy – like riding a bike. In the same way that you don’t have to win a race to get value from competing in it, you don’t have to be a great philosopher to generate insight that brings more meaning to your life.
Cycling is the departure point for my personal physical and reflective journey. It may be yours, too. Or it may not be. That’s fine. In any case, you can use my many contemplations either as direct insight or as a model for your own discoveries, reflections and connections.
